Urban naturalist Bruce Rosenberg will lead a to examine over twenty plants and trees in the Arboretum that have medicinal qualities and are used to treat physical and mental conditions. All of these plats can be grown in your own backyard and are available at local nurseries. He will also briefly discuss some of the active chemical constituents of those plants which help to fight infections, inflammation and a host of other ailments. Meet at the Memorial Garden entrance.
