Pre-movie entertainment begins at 5 p.m.; movies start at sundown. Event is rain or shine. Moviegoers should bring blankets, folding chairs and a picnic. Refreshments will be available for sale. Movies may be cancelled due to inclement weather.

Come to Lasdon for the annual Family Garden Party – a fun-filled day where families can explore, play and learn about plants and pollinators. This year’s celebration features interactive games and activities. Children will follow an adventure map to solve puzzles and clues to complete their journey and earn a special reward. Event also features storytelling, a craft corner and hands on demonstration of spinning and weaving with plant fibers. $5 per child to participate. Adults are free. Children $8 at the door.

Have you ever wanted to preserve the whimsical colors of fall to enjoy year round? Now’s your chance!!! Join us at Trailside this weekend for some sustainable fall foliage pressing and decoupage.
Come to the Trailside Nature Museum and learn some introductory skull identification techniques where you will interpret an animal’s skull to extrapolate clues on the animal’s diet, behavior, and environment.
Let’s gather together to enjoy Autumn in the gardens and orchard. We will record our stories in a journal, build with sticks, stems, rocks and blocks, and exercise our imagination. This is a chance for littles and caregivers to dig into gentle gardening with soil, water, bulbs, roots, or seeds. We always end with gratitude for forest friends and a cup of warm tea. Dress for the weather and bring a snack. Registration required. Ages 18mo-4yr
