Calling dinosaur lovers to celebrate National Dinosaur Day by baking Dino Sugar cookies, making Lasdon’s unique Paleo-pouch for holding fossil treasures and taking a special hands-on tour of the Dino trail that includes touching real dino poo! 6 children max. Ages 5 years old and up. Registration required at lasdonpublicgardens.org. Registration ends May 29. Fee: $10.

Irish Heritage Day begins at noon, Mass starts at 12:30 p.m., followed by entertainment. Bagpipers and The Deirdre O’Mara School of Irish Dance will be there too! There will also be activities for the children, shop for authentic Irish goods from various vendors, and food and beverages will be available for purchase.
General admission is $10, seniors/children admission is $5, children 13 and under are free. Parking is free.
The festival will be held rain or shine. Seating is informal; bring blankets or folding chairs for seating on the lawn. No coolers will be allowed.
Join us on National Trails Day to explore a trail at Lasdon with the eyes of a steward. We will introduce tools, and plants that need management and planting, and invite participants to help leave the trails better than we found them. Bring a picnic to enjoy afterwards. Recommended for ages 4 and up.
