Join us for our annual Sugaring off Party!! We will have pancakes and other delectable goodies along with our homemade maple syrup. There will be live tapping demonstrations, and the sugar house will be open to show you how we boil down the sap we have collected to make syrup. The kids will love the maple sugar cotton candy, and we will have music as well.
During this Live animal Program, you’ll travel to the most fantastic places in the world to meet some of the most amazing animals. Identify the different ways animals survive in their habitats. Presented by Anthony Cogswell. Sponsored by the Friends of Marshlands.
Meet at the nature center for a guided hike of our preserve’s namesake lake! Our hike will cover some of our most prominent native flora and fauna, as well as the history of the lake and the preserve.
Unsure of what exactly to do with your veggies? Have you tried recreating a recipe just for it to fall flat? Join us in this month’s Kitchen Knacks, all about how to season your food! We will give out recipes on basic seasoning mixes to try as well as discuss how to experiment on your own with flavor in the kitchen.
