Contribute to a real-time snapshot of global bird populations. Count birds for as little as 15 minutes, or as long as you wish. Beginners are welcome! Participants search different habitats for birds.
Come and help keep our trails publicly accessible by clearing any debris on them. . Great for service credit hours. Please bring work gloves. Hand tools and demonstrations are provided.

Join the Trailside staff for a personal tapping experience learning how we tap the trees to get sap to then make our very own maple syrup. You and your family will get a half hour time slot. $25 per family of four.

Learn about hibernation and the crucial role it plays for some species in surviving winter months. Discover who is sleeping the winter away and who remains active in the park and how they both manage to endure winter. After our walk we’ll return to the nature center for tea and hot chocolate to warm up.
