After being inducted into the Civil War Army, children will bake Maple Sugar Cookies, hand-sew a soldiers’ housewife (something every soldier needed!), make a period craft, play with Civil War toys and learn about being a soldier with a hands-on experience in the Veterans Museum. 6 children max. Join the Trailside staff for a personal tapping experience learning how we tap the trees to get sap to then make our very own maple syrup. You and your family will get a half hour time slot. $25 per family of four.
