Have you always wanted to be a wildlife detective? Well now is your chance! We will give you “detective checklist” and go on a hike looking for track clues, animal signs, scat, nests and sounds. Make sure you bring your tracking skills with you!
This tour will examine some of the dangerous/toxic plants that are found in your backyard and surrounding area. Parts of these plants including leaves seeds and berries if ingested can cause individuals to become violently ill. Besides these outdoor plants, several common house plants sold at garden centers and nurseries have leaves and berries that are poisonous and can result in humans and their pets to also experience unpleasant physical symptoms. it is hoped that by taking this tour you will be able to identify these dangerous plants and prevent you and your family from getting ill.
