How does sap become syrup? Experience our Sugar Shack in action between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.! All ages; stop-in demonstration.
Syrup isn’t just for pancakes! Ages 8 and older can learn about all the ways to use maple syrup in the kitchen while cooking up a maple-themed culinary treat! $20 per person. Treats may range from sweet to savory, so bring your appetite with you!

Come out to see if our local weather-predicting chicken, Clucks-atawney Henrietta, has lain an egg for an early spring! Enjoy some treats and activities after for a celebration!
Ages 8 and up can enter one of the Farm’s enclosures to see, touch and learn more about an animal of the farmer’s choice! $25 per person (adults required to stay). Please meet at the Reception Center upon arrival with sturdy, closed-toe footwear. Also: Feb. 22; March 22.

Looking for something to do with your child who is 3, 4 or 5? Bring them to the farm for a fun morning of stories, crafts, animal and nature activities, and more! Please meet at the Activity Building. $10 per child and caregiver; not suitable for ages under 3. Registration is required.

Make maple syrup right in your backyard! Come by to learn about the equipment you will need, identifying sugar maples in all seasons, the right way to tap trees and how to turn sap from maples in your yard into syrup on your pancakes! Sessions meet at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. at our Sugar Shack to tour our equipment and see our maples. Registration not required.
Ages 6 through 14 can become a farmer for a day and join our staff as they feed, clean and care for our animals! $25 for a child with an adult. If you have two children, please purchase two tickets (one adult is required to stay, but the extra ticket covers the additional child). Participants will meet at Muscoot’s Reception Center with sturdy, closed-toe footwear.
