Can we spot any eagles at the park this winter? Join us for a short hike to observe what waterfowl do in the cold season. Meet at entrance to RV Park. Free; no registration required; ages 5+; wear sturdy, warm shoes.
Learn about hibernation and the crucial role it plays for some species in surviving winter months. Discover who is sleeping the winter away and who remains active in the park and how they both manage to endure winter. After our walk we’ll return to the nature center for tea and hot chocolate to warm up.

This popular program! We will learn the needs of these creatures that constantly struggle for nesting habitat. All materials will be provided to make a box. Participants must register by March 15, 2025.
