The Oklahoma Expedition of the 1970s and Creation of the Delaware Resource Center
November 14 at 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm
Nick Shoumatoff, the Curator at the Trailside Nature Museum in Ward Pound Ridge Reservation during the 1970s, took a team of researchers to Oklahoma, to learn from elders of the Delaware Nation. We will discuss his findings, the implications, and what we can learn from their work. A lecture with slides and archival material and audio will be in the Nature Center, with a Q+A to follow.
