Community Farm Work Day: Onion Harvest
Join us for a Community Farm Work Day dedicated to bringing in one of our staple crops: onions! This hands-on day welcomes neighbors of all ages and comfort levels to come together, get outside, and help with the harvest.

What you’ll do:
Volunteers will help with harvesting, cleaning, and curing onions — from pulling bulbs from the field to prepping them for long-term storage. Tasks vary in physical demand, so there’s a comfortable way for everyone to pitch in, whether you’re up for active fieldwork or prefer lighter, more hands-on prep work.

Why it matters:
Onions are a farm staple, but harvesting and curing them properly takes time and many hands. Your help ensures this crop makes it safely from the field to storage — supporting what we’re able to grow and share with our community throughout the season.
