Owned by Westchester County\, the 52-acre environmental center is a working farm devoted to sustainable agriculture\, environmental stewardship\, community education\, and a locally accessible food system through its farm stand and CSA program. \nAs its name suggests\, the farm offers spectacular views—on our last visit\, the skyscrapers of Manhattan\, more than 40 miles away\, could be seen from the table. Chef Clare de Boer joins us for this summer’s gathering. An acclaimed British chef\, writer\, and co-owner of New York City’s renowned King and Jupiter restaurants\, Clare revitalized Stissing House in 2022\, transforming the historic 1782 tavern into a destination for wood-fired\, locally sourced seasonal American fare.
