This hands-on day welcomes neighbors of all ages and comfort levels to come together\, get outside\, and help with the harvest. \nWhat you’ll do:\nVolunteers will help with harvesting\, cleaning\, and curing onions — from pulling bulbs from the field to prepping them for long-term storage. Tasks vary in physical demand\, so there’s a comfortable way for everyone to pitch in\, whether you’re up for active fieldwork or prefer lighter\, more hands-on prep work. \nWhy it matters:\nOnions are a farm staple\, but harvesting and curing them properly takes time and many hands.
